Excellent cousine and service in the restaurant "Senses". Room service and facilities. Availability of spa at Vivenda Miranda. Availability and professionalism of hotel contact person (Andrea) who is responsible for the organisation of different initiatives/excursions.
Delay in opening of spa which was planned for July 2011, but at the same time the reception provided at my request spa services at another hotel (same owner, located in 5 min by car) with spa facilities. Initially I was allocated to the room with a view on future pool and golf field that are still under construction, but again, the reception changed it at my request to the room with the appropriate view.

Professionaly I check many 5star hotels worlwide and for a hotel which has just opened, I was very impressed with the level of profesionalism and kindness the hotel staff treats its clients with. Food is excellent, breakfast buffet sumptouos, the chef patissier even managed to present me with a cake for my birthday without even asking. Rooms were spacious with nice amenities. The whole experience gave me exactly what I expected from my stay: a truly relaxing break in an amazing location. I will most definitely go back.
I lacked flowers in the gardens but I guess this is due to recent opening of the hotel. The spa and gym weren't open yet, but I was informed of this before making my reservation.

This hotel exceeded high expectations in every way, recommend. Everything was very good, had a very nice stay on vacation. I was offered a room with incredibly beautiful views of the immaculate pool and sea beyond. The pool was good, the breakfast was delicious and absolutely superb.
Some people working there were very unhelpful.

The restaurant dinners and restaurant staff were outstanding. All staff very friendly & acommodating.
The fitness center/gym was not ready yet, nor was the walkway down to the beach. I'm sure that will change soon!

We were offered an upgrade into one of the hotel rooms facing the pool on the ground floor, which we took. It was excellent and we were glad we did as the breakfasts were superb and well worth the extra. Staff so friendly and eager to please. Yes the resort is quiet just now,but that suited us perfectly. You would need a car to get around ,but again we had planned for that and enjoyed the area around Lagos. Did not dine in the evening at hotel, not because of any faults, rather we had been given restaurants to explore by friends. Always came back for coffe on the terrace to round offf the evening and admire the views.everything about the hotel is 5 star.

Absolutely loved cascade! The pool is one of the best I have seen, spectacular. Every single staff member I encountered was polite, courteous and extremely helpful. There was even a company car to take you into town (less than 10mins) when available. Lovely restaurant with a breathtaking view. Very nice, intimate setting. Will be back!

I thought the hotel room was beautifully designed with attention to detail and guest comfort.
The hotel is located in a new development that has a "suburban" ambiance and no local charm. It could be located anywhere in the world, so it therefore has a generic quality, even though it is beautiful.

We liked everything!!!! The view was wonderful, the rooms fabulous and luxurious, the staff beyond wonderful and accommodating, a spectacular salt water pool, good food and great drinks!!!!! The location is also terrific as you are a short ride from great sightseeing, good restaurants, local shopping, etc. We all want to go back!!! Another unbelievable perk that I loved and yet never encountered before.....when you want to go to visit local sights, the hotel provides the driver who takes you to the place and shows you around for as long as you want or in the case of taking a boat ride thru the caves and caverns, she drops you off and picks you up......FREE Of charge or parking fees....we, of course, tipped, but this service was so wonderful and made everything very special!!!!! I can't recommend this hotel enough....you will love everything about it!!!!!!!

Lovely apartment (after being moved from our first allocation) although it was evident that this was built as part of the second phase and the quality of finish was compromised to save cost E.G. lower grade inside floor tiles (the same as terrace), laminate flooring in bedroom etc. Both pool areas were nice; pool area at the apartments had a sandy play area which is good for kids. Main pool area is very nice and will no doubt look better as the resort matures.
There were a limited number of people working in the hotel – service was nonexistent at times. Had to repeatedly ask for the same things E.G. lounger for terrace, new iron etc before something was finally done about it. The restaurant service standards were poor even though the hotel was extremely quiet. When the food finally arrived it was average at best. There is no room service for the apartments. After arriving late in the afternoon with a young baby who we needed to put to bed we wanted to order food in the room at night (as we hadn’t had the opportunity to go to the shops). The hotel would not provide anything so I had to go across to the main restaurant and order a meal and carry it to the room; very poor! Service around the pool area was slow. The resort is far from finished with most of the resort resembling a building site which was disappointing. A real lack of facilities: two restaurants (one only open for breakfast), one small bar. Spa not finished (opened the day we left), gym not finished, no onsite shop, no crèche, no direct access to the beach.

We enjoyed the gorgeous coastal path leading to beautiful beaches and the lovely pools with plenty of sunbeds. The gym was a great addition, and the kitchen in our apartment was super handy for snacks. The location was perfect for day trips to local attractions!

This is a fairly new place. The works are not yet finished, but this did not interfere with our stay. The staff was very helpful and the accomodation was very comfortable. One does need a car to make the most of this location.

A very new hotel with a fabulous swimming pool and excellent location. We found it perfect for our relaxing holiday and the staff were very very helpful. The Spa was a bit of a mystery-not promoted by the hotel staff at all but we weren't really interested in that aspect. The breakfasts were superb but the evening menu was limited and the one time we ate there it was disappointing. The wines were all Portuguese which was a terrific idea and they were very good. The junior suite was extremely comfortable with a lovely balcony.
Only the evening meal-limited menu .
